Thank you for stopping by! Please introduce yourself if you're planning on (hoping to?) joining us by following along with the blog and reading some or all of the books.
Thank you so much for starting this blog, with its friendly, refreshing look and inspiring book list. I am rereading "The Reed of God" with a new set of eyes, or so it seems. So happy to be in this place. Maryanne
Looking forward to what y'all discuss in the readings you choose. I love Carol Houselander and read The Read of God every year. Hugs and prayers for an enlightening Year of Faith!
Hi there, I stumbled upon your blog through a series f blogs on homeschooling and I am sure glad that I did! I am looking to reconnect with my Catholic faith and I'm a bit lost at the moment... I look forward to reading Robert Barron's Catholicism, just found it at my local library. If you can think of resources for a returning Catholic, please let me know! Nshy
Welcome!!! I'm so glad you stumbled in! :) I think Fr. Barron's *Catholicism*, especially, is a perfect place to start. If you get a chance, I do recommend both the book and the DVD series (you might be able to request the DVDs through the library. The images and music add so much to the sense of what we are about as Catholics). There's also a lot of great material on Fr. Barron's website, http://www.wordonfire.org. Also, feel free to e-mail me if I can be of further assistance. My e-mail address is love2learnmom@gmail.com
